KAST is a money app for global citizens, powered by stablecoins. We named it, branded it, and have designed numerous iterations of the website and marketing campaigns. And we’re just getting started.
KAST didn't set out to digitize a domestic bank. It set out to do something more structural: build a neobank that's global from the first day, powered by stablecoins, designed for the millions of people whose lives don't fit inside one country's borders. The members KAST serves are world travelers, global entrepreneurs, cross-border earners, and nomadic freelancers — people who earn in one place, spend in another, and want a USD account that moves with them.

The challenge from day one was to build a brand that could hold the weight of institutional banking while feeling lighter, faster, and more aspirational than any bank that came before it. Stablecoin-first is a serious technical position. The brand had to make it feel inevitable, not technical.
The name: from the ancient origin of money
KAST comes from the act of casting coins — the ancient origin of money itself, when value was first struck from metal. It also points forward: casting something far, the language of distance, travel, and speed. The name carries the full arc of what KAST does. A new kind of money, sent anywhere.

The strategy: “Growth in Motion”
The brand strategy centers on a single idea: money that keeps up with its members' ambition, speed, and spirit. KAST's members aren't sitting still. Their work moves, their lives move, their money should too. Growth in Motion became the organizing principle for every brand decision that followed — the visual system, the tone, the product surfaces, the marketing.

The mark
The KAST icon is a stylized K built around an open form — a letter that's been pulled apart at the seams to represent the opening of borders. It reads as a wordmark and as a symbol at once: precise, structural, quietly modern.

We extended the logic into a broken K pattern that runs across the brand, designed to feel less like a fintech motif and more like a fashion house signature. Connection, repetition, and the kind of pattern language you'd expect from a luxury monogram rather than a payments app.

An aspirational aesthetic
The brand pulls from a different reference set than most fintech: American Express, world travel, luxury hospitality, high-end automotive. The result is a system that reads as a lifestyle brand more than a banking one — confident, considered, and quietly built for people who already move through these worlds.

We've designed and shipped multiple iterations of the KAST product since launch, refining the core flows that members rely on most: opening a USD account, holding and moving stablecoins, sending money across borders, spending anywhere. The interface mirrors the brand — minimal, fast, and built around clarity rather than complexity.

Marketing in motion
The work has extended well beyond brand and product. We collaborate with KAST daily on marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and collateral for the events and conferences where KAST shows up. From fintech summits to crypto-native gatherings to the cross-border business circles their members already operate in. Every piece carries the same system, scaled and adapted but never diluted.

KAST has grown from a name on a whiteboard into one of the most ambitious financial platforms in the world. The company has raised over $90M, expanded into 170+ countries, and processed more than $5B on the platform. Built on a brand and product foundation we've shaped since day one and continue to evolve alongside the team.
