George Renfro

Co-Founder / Creative Director

As Creative Director and cofounder, George Renfro leads the creative vision and strategic direction of Almost Always. With nearly 20 years of experience helping companies navigate periods of growth, transformation, and reinvention, he works closely with clients and internal teams to develop the positioning, concepts, and creative systems that shape every engagement. Known for his honesty and direct approach, George is less interested in validating assumptions than he is in finding the right solution—a philosophy that has earned the trust of founders, executives, and marketing leaders across a wide range of industries.

Throughout his career, George has helped launch, name, and build brands that have gone on to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in funding, including companies such as Kast, FlyHouse, Photon and MUD\WTR. He has also led the rebranding and evolution of established organizations including Milani and Traackr, helping position them for new stages of growth. His work spans Ecoomerce, fashion, med-tech, AI, and financial services, where he is often called upon to bring clarity to complex challenges and create brands that resonate with both customers and stakeholders.

George studied design at Central Saint Martins in London, one of the world's leading art and design schools. Outside of Almost Always, he spends most of his time with his wife, two daughters, plays an unreasonable amount of volleyball, and owns a car wash—a combination that has taught him that good ideas can come from almost anywhere.
